Shannon Scott has been named chief strategy officer by the American Academy of Family Physicians. On January 1, 2021, she will also assume the role of deputy EVP. Until now, she has been SVP of marketing, communications, membership and meetings and conventions at AAFP.

Dr. Lynn Nezin has been appointed SVP, brand strategy, and Dr. Lauren Lazar has been appointed SVP, medical strategy at Calcium. Previously, Dr. Nezin had been with FCB, while Dr. Lazar had been senior medical director for the PSL Group.

Union Therapeutics appoints chief executive and chief technology officers

Dr. Kim Kjoeller has been appointed CEO, effective Janaury 1, 2021, and Dr. Günter Ditzinger has been appointed CTO by Union Therapeutics, which specializes in pharmaceuticals to treat infectious and inflammatory diseases. Dr. Kjoeller is EVP of global research and development at LEO Pharma A/S, while Dr. Ditzinger most recently had been CTO at Basilea Pharmaceutica.
