Ariane Dumas started her health sciences career in 2017 as a teaching assistant at Harvard, and then joined H4B where she focused on brand strategy and positioning workshops. She later left the agency world to go to Karyopharm Therapeutics, and in 2020 she moved to Appelis where she was promoted three times. Finally, in October, she joined EMD Serono as director, U.S. oncology brand marketing.

Behind those lines on a formidable resume is an award-winning marketer with a unique expertise in rare diseases and product launches. Dumas is known for her calm, positive nature and her commitment to always educating herself about the changing digital landscape. At Apellis, she oversaw all HCP-facing marketing campaigns and contributed to many Apellis “HCP firsts” including paid social, rich media and various custom programs.

Dumas is also a runner, painter and writer — she has written two feature screenplays and two short films.
