After beginning his career at Amazon and then contributing to the success of several startups, Baron Harper joined The Trade Desk in 2016 where he spearheaded the development of the pharma and consumer health verticals.

Harper has developed a reputation as a forward-thinking leader, exceling at managing complex commercial relationships with some of The Trade Desk’s largest pharma clients. His ability to collaborate across functions is instrumental in developing bespoke pharma-specific strategies and ensuring that clients receive solutions that meet their business needs. Harper’s vision and passion have helped propel the health and fitness vertical, and it contributes 16% ($1.2 billion) of The Trade Desk’s spend.

Outside of his professional life, Harper considers his wife and his 3-year-old daughter his top priorities. He also makes time to serve on the board of Teens of Color Abroad (TOCA), a nonprofit organization that facilitates study abroad opportunities for students of color.
