As president and CEO of Color & Culture, George Fernandez and the company’s staff provide culturally relevant strategies to reach the multicultural healthcare marketplace. Latino Connection, which Fernandez established in 2014 when he was 25, has served millions of Latinos and helped hundreds of organizations meet their healthcare marketing goals. In 2022, Latino Connection acquired advertising agency PPO&S merging both under the Color & Culture name.

Fernandez’s career has blazed a new path in healthcare marketing, specifically impacting low-income, marginalized communities who are more likely to lack access to affordable and culturally relevant health resources.

His professional mission is also personal. As an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, he saw his non-English-speaking mother struggle in a broken system. That experience has motivated much of his volunteer work, lending his expertise to organizations including the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the Governor’s Advisory Council on Hispanic/Latino Affairs.
