JohnMark Conklin’s career path is an unusual one in the healthcare marketing space. His first venture, after graduating with a degree in business administration and marketing from Liberty University, was focused on sustainability, a passion of Conklin’s. He diverted used books to companies such as Amazon and recycling initiatives. He was also a content creator and his photographs and reflections led to advertising work, as well as an invitation to spend a day with Taylor Swift.

Since joining Publicis Health in 2018, Conklin has become known as the agency’s Swiss Army knife. He easily plays a variety of roles leading internal, external and crisis communications; working with external PR teams; supporting executive visibility and thought leadership initiatives; and developing strategic communications and media partnerships for the global healthcare communications network.

Conklin’s many travels on four continents have included volunteer efforts with UNICEF, Samaritan’s Purse and the World Health Organization.
