In 2015, Natxo Diaz joined Ogilvy Health Spain as a copywriter. He climbed from that role to creative director at Ogilvy, then executive creative director and chief creative officer, both at VMLY&R Health Spain. In May, he was named global head of craft at VMLY&R Health, now known as VML Health. His rapid ascent up the ladder of healthcare marketing has been marked by many creative awards, and he helped make VMLY&R a top-rated agency in health in Spain.

A common denominator of all of his work is that Diaz is committed to creating health campaigns that drive change and make a difference. For example, the Sugar Kids campaign, which received many awards in Spain, was focused on addressing childhood obesity by reducing sugar consumption. It even resulted in key changes to Spanish law.

Outside of agency life, Diaz has a wide range of interests, from book addict to aspiring sommelier.
