Ryan Billings is a true digital native, first learning how to build a website in grade school and embracing various social platforms when they launched. Early in his career he developed Sylvan Learning’s first social strategy and a health insurance company’s first Facebook page.

Billings looks beyond healthcare for inspiration. He has brought the accessible, responsive user experiences offered by companies such as Uber and Amazon to initiatives for Merck, AstraZeneca and GSK, using gamification and other strategies to drive engagement and increase social followings. In his 18 months at Organon, he has created a commercial innovation organization that is unlocking growth opportunities while establishing best digital practices including the safe use of AI.

Billings has long been active in the LGBTQ+ community, as part of Philadelphia’s and Boston’s Gay Men’s Choruses and, since moving to Durham, North Carolina, sitting on the board of Stonewall Sports Raleigh.
