UBM Medica released an iPad app for Cancer Management: A Multidisciplinary Approach. The free app is the third for the company, which also has apps for a clinical psychiatric assessments and the publication Medical Observer. The Cancer Management app includes updates of chemotherapy regimen tables, ASCO meeting updates and FDA cancer drug approvals. The handbook’s coverage includes lung, breast, gastrointestinal and brain cancers as well as palliative support.
Bristol-Myers Squibb is putting $165 million towards expanding a manufacturing plant in Puerto Rico, the Associated Press reported. The AP said the expansion of the Humacao plant will be dedicated to diabetes and cardiovascular medicines and will create about 100 jobs.
