Blackrock Neurotech has hired Jeff Jensen as its first CTO. Jensen joins from Creator, where he was VP of engineering and led R&D, prototyping and operation of the company’s robotic kitchens.
At Blackrock, Jensen will spearhead product development and deployment with the company’s implantable brain-computer interface technology.
“Jeff will be integral in deploying the MoveAgain BCI platform as we transition toward commercializing the system in early 2023,” Marcus Gerhardt, co-founder and CEO of Blackrock, said in a statement. “His extensive experience leading cross-functional teams in rapid product development will allow us to align ambitious timelines and regulatory processes, with the goal of getting BCI solutions to patients as safely and as quickly as possible.”
