Inizio Evoke has appointed Daryl Somma DiSalvo as chief strategy officer.

DiSalvo will lead the practice across the agency platform’s brand and creative business, overseeing the development of client brand strategies, elevating the global strategy practice, and “unlocking transformative growth” for health brands and businesses, the agency said in a statement.

DiSalvo joined Inizio Evoke in March. She reports to marketing group president Cris Morton.

As the platform-wide strategy function lead, DiSalvo will partner with leaders and teams across Inizio Evoke to develop breakthrough strategies that transcend therapeutic areas, channels and audiences and generate demand, according to the firm.

She is responsible for further establishing and implementing strategy best practices, creating proprietary tools and unlocking new potential for existing and new clients’ businesses.

DiSalvo joins Inizio Evoke from McCann Health New York, where she most recently served as chief strategy officer. Prior to McCann, she worked at advertising agency CDM New York for over seven years across multiple roles.

Inizio Evoke is a global health marketing and communications firm under Inizio, within the Clayton, Dubilier & Rice holding company. The agency, previously Evoke Group, rebranded to reflect the merger of two agencies under the Inizio brand at the beginning of this year.
