Arvinas hired Andrew Saik as CFO and treasurer.

London-based biotech Compass Pathways appointed Lori Englebert as chief commercial officer.

Arialys Therapeutics named Peter Flynn, PhD as its CEO.

CND Life Sciences expanded its leadership team with four new executive hires.

Anthony Manson joined Healio as chief digital officer.

Caitlyn Miller, PhD, founded TwoStep Therapeutics and will serve as CEO. The company will also be led by chief business officer Michael Ostrach and drug development and scientific advisor Robert Coffman, PhD. 

Miller was assisted in founding the company by Nobel Laureate Carolyn Bertozzi, PhD, Jennifer Cochran, PhD, senior associate vice provost for research and professor of bioengineering at Stanford University and Ronald Levy, MD, professor of medicine and oncology at the school. 

Intellia Therapeutics announced the appointment of Edward Dulac as EVP, CFO and treasurer, effective July 22. He succeeds Glenn Goddard who will step down from his role on June 30.

Health and wellness marketing agency Parallel Path added Dan Shust as director of AI and experience innovation.

Element Biosciences hired Amirali Kia, PhD as VP of AI and Tina Tian, PhD as VP of portfolio management.

Oluwadamilola (Dammie) Brown, MD joined the Colorectal Cancer Alliance as SVP of mission delivery, while Tina Zeff joined as chief operating officer.

The Tang Prize Foundation jointly awarded the 2024 Tang Prize in Biopharmaceutical Science to Joel F. Habener, Svetlana Mojsov and Jens Juul Holst for discovering GLP-1 as an insulinotropic factor as well as developing anti-diabetic and anti-obesity drugs.
