Teladoc Health unveiled a new app to offer whole-person care to patients at CES 2023 on Thursday.

The app offers access to primary care, mental health and chronic condition management under a “single portable account,” the company said. Teladoc Health added that through the app, patients will be able to view eligible services, review all physician-based integrated care plans and “have access to care coordination capabilities with in-person providers ensuring clinical needs are met.”

Teladoc Health also launched a new brand identity to reflect its focus on the whole person care strategy and empowering patients to take control of their care decisions.

The company said its brand look and feel is based upon the “Connector” logo, representing “the ongoing connection between customers and the care they need to achieve new levels of health.”

The telemedicine provider said the app, which will be available in English and Spanish languages, will offer a host of services under the Teladoc Health brand. To that end, the company said it has invested in hiring more than 100 Spanish-speaking providers in the past year to support the effort.

Specific clients will have access to the full integrated experience this month while a full market rollout is expected later this year.

“Our goal is to provide options for those individuals who don’t have primary care or good chronic condition management or mental health support,” Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella, chief medical officer at Teladoc Health, said in a statement. “This fully integrated experience not only helps individuals navigate between physical and mental health, but it also takes into consideration social determinants of health that play an integral part in their wellbeing.”

The launch of the new app as well as the unveiling of the brand identity come after a slew of hires made by the telemedicine giant in 2022.

The virtual care company named Laizer Kornwasser as president of enterprise growth and global markets in November, scooping her up from CareCentrix

Over the summer, Teladoc Health tapped Mike Waters to serve as COO, bringing him on after previous stints at W Medical Group and Med Stat.

Additionally, Raman-Tangella was hired in April to serve as CMO after serving as general manager of healthcare and life sciences at Amazon Web Services
