Embracing change from the start, Amgen’s website has the bio of its newest CEO, Robert Bradway, posted and ready to be read. Bradway, who took over from Kevin Sharer Wednesday, joined the biotech in 2006, when he started as vice president of operations strategy. Sharer announced his departure in December. The company increased its revenues more than quadrupled during his tenure, rising from $3.6 billion in 2000 to almost $16 billion last year, reported Bloomberg, when the transition was announced last year.

Honorary fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London and recent President of Pfizer’s primary care unit Olivier Brandicourt is stepping in as President and General Manager of the Emerging Markets and Established Products Business units. He takes on his new role June 1, when David Simmons exits to chair the privately held company Pharmaceutical Product Development.

Signaling a focus shift, Quadrant HealthCom has appointed Margo Ullmann its VP of Digital Custom Solutions and John Baranowksi VP/editorial director. Ullmann, who is charged with developing apps, optimizing sites for mobile and microsites will report to JoAnn Wahl, president of custom publications. Ullmann was previously the group publisher for the Women’s Health Alliance. Baranowski will report to company president and CEO Marcy Holeton. His focus will be optimizing content across platforms. “Print will always be a core part of our mix, Quadrant is focusing on building new digital platforms and growing our extensive physician database, Holeton said in a statement.
