Greenleaf Health, a full service regulatory consulting firm, hired former FDA commissioner Andrew von Eschenbach as senior advisor. Von Eschenbach will offer strategic counsel to Greenleaf’s clients, whom are regulated by the FDA.

 

California-based Proteolix, Inc., a biopharma focused on therapeutics that target protein degradation pathways in cancer and autoimmune diseases, has announced the appointment of John Scarlett to president and CEO. Proteolix founder Susan Molineaux will transition from her position as CEO to chief scientific officer. Scarlett previously co-founded biotech Tercica, and Covance Biotechnology Services, and has worked as head of the North American Clincial Development Organization at Novo Nordisk. He also held senior management positions at Greenwich Pharmaceuticals and McNeil Pharmaceuticals.

 

OgilvyHealth tapped Stephanie Stamatakou as regional director. In her new role, Stamatakou will oversee Ogilvy Group business from Japan and China, to South Asia, to Australia. Stamatakou has previously worked for several healthcare-focused communications groups, including Burson Marsteller, Fleishman Hillard, Porter Novelli, and most recently, Publicis in New York.  Stamatakou will be based in Singapore and report to Ogilvy PR regional CEO Christopher Graves.

 

CommonHealth, a WPP company, promoted Chris Andrews to chief information officer. Andrews was previously vice president, business solutions and networking. Prior to joining CommonHealth in 2006, Andrews was director of sales, marketing and editorial systems at HarperCollins.
