CMPMedica named Sally Shankland CEO of CMPMedica US, replacing Vicki Masseria.
Shankland was previously SVP of the firm’s US promotional business unit, a role she served for six years. She has worked for CMPMedica owner United Business Media since 1988, when she joined Miller Freeman. She orchestrated the 2006 launch of SearchMedica. Harry Elkington, global CEO of CMPMedica, praised her “great track record in building the promotional side of our business.”
Masseria spent 26 years with CMPMedica and its predecessor companies. Through a CMPMedica spokesperson, she declined comment on her future plans.
