Thomas Hushen joined CSL in 2021 in the midst of the global pandemic and was faced with developing critical communications to ensure CSL’s steady flow of medicines to over 100 countries. As a global leader in pandemic preparedness, maintaining engagement and morale among CSL’s 30,000 employees was vital. 

To strengthen the company’s brand purpose, Hushen developed CSL’s first brand anthem video, Promises, sharing emotionally compelling visual stories of how employees are driven by their promise to save lives around the world. The video was shot at 30 different locations around the world, involving subjects from a newborn infant to a 101-year-old great-great-grandmother. After the video launch, impressions reached more than 45,000 and views were over 12,000 from just a single post.
