Tyler Steinhilber’s education primed him for pharma marketing, with combined degrees in biological science and chemistry and an MBA in marketing and finance. He began his career at the University of Rochester, focusing on multi-site clinical research studies in the fields of neurology, oncology, behavioral science and exercise physiology.

At Horizon, Steinhilber began his focus on market access in the rare disease space. In less than a year, he was promoted to director, market access strategy, payer and site of care marketing lead, heading the strategy and launch of a rare disease medication to support patient access to an important treatment. Steinhilber has successfully reduced costs at Horizon by developing and executing strategic partnerships with external corporations through affiliations, partnerships and administrative services agreements.
