H&K names Oestreicher to head U.S. pharma practice

Hill & Knowlton has named DeVries’ Paul Oestreicher to head
its U.S. health and pharmaceutical practice.
Oestreicher, most recently head of the healthcare practice at DeVries,
previously led North American communications for Sanofi-Synthelabo and has served in various communications roles at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Wyeth and Edelman Public Relations.
He reports to U.S. chairman MaryLee Sachs.
Paul McDade, who previously headed Hill & Knowlton’s worldwide healthcare practice, left the firm in March to work on a documentary film.
