A clinical trial search application for the iPhone will feature highlights from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Orlando.
StopWatchMedia, the developer of the app, will update the “Featured Trials” section continuously throughout the duration of the meeting, and provide details, summaries, and direct links to a given trial’s location at www.clinicaltrials.gov.
“We recognize the importance of our application to oncologists, and we wanted to make it easer – and a little cheaper – for them to start or continue using ClincalTrials.app while they are on the road,” said Geoffrey Young, chief technology officer at StopWatchMedia, in a statement. The price of the app was recently reduced from $24.99 to $9.99.
The ASCO annual meeting is being held today through June 2.
