Pharmaceutical marketing-research firm AlphaDetail promoted Rishi Varma to president and CEO. Varma co-founded AlphaDetail almost nine years ago, and has held senior-level positions at the company, overseeing each major functional area of the business.
TGaS Advisors, a pharmaceutical benchmarking and advisory services firm, promoted John Carro to principal and hired John Kain as VP, management advisor, marketing sciences, and Kevin Sharp, director, management advisor, commercial compliance solutions. Carro was previously VP, management advisor, in the sales operations practice. Kain has led pharmaceutical market research and analytics teams for nearly 20 years, working with such firms as ImpactRx, NDC Health Information Services (now Wolters Kluwer Health) and others. Sharp has worked for Wyeth and has held positions at Publicis Selling Solutions, HighPoint Solutions and Archi-Tech Systems.
