Sanovas announced additions to its executive lineup aimed at adding oomph to its expertise. The new hires include: Midmark Surgical alum Mike Humason as VP clinical affairs and physician education, Stryker vet Carolos Gonzalez as VP regulatory affairs and quality assurance and Titan alum Robert Farrell as CFO.

Donna Ambrosino, who served as MassBiologics’ first CEO has changed titles. Visterra has named the author of more than 60 scientific publications and specialist in development and clinical management of infectious diseases its chief medical officer. The company’s lead pipeline product is a broad spectrum monoclonal antibody for seasonal and pandemic influenza.

Amgen vet Ken Keller has signed on as Spectrum’s executive vice president, chief commercial officer. Keller will lead the company’s commercial operations, development and pharmaceutical operations, a role which dovetails with his experience in sales and marketing and joint venture leadership. Keller was most recently VP and general manager of Amgen’s bone health business unit. His Amgen career has included being the marketing lead or general manager for Neupogen, Neulasta and Enbrel, among others.
