Maryland-based Ore Pharmaceuticals has appointed Mark Gabrielson to president and CEO, replacing Charles Dimmler. Gabrielson, an Ore Pharmaceuticals board member, began his career at GSK, and was most recently managing general partner of p-Value Capital.

Maryland-based Ore Pharmaceuticals has appointed Mark Gabrielson to president and CEO, replacing Charles Dimmler. Gabrielson, an Ore Pharmaceuticals board member, began his career at GlaxoSmithKline, and was most recently managing general partner of p-Value Capital.

Discovery Chicago, a healthcare communications agency and division of the Publicis Medical Education Group, has promoted Lisa Bance to managing director. Bance joined Discovery Chicago in 2008, and was previously SVP, group account services.
