GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health company, recently announced the promotion of Geoff Morrow to director of the global integration team. Morrow, based in GSW Worldwide’s Columbus office, has worked as vice president, global operations since joining the agency in November of 2006. His responsibilities now include managing international operations and leading the seamless execution of strategy across all brands at GSW Worldwide. Before joining GSW Worldwide, Morrow was in a marketing leadership role both in Canada and internationally with Eli Lilly and Company where he led the local and global strategy for Zyprexa. Prior to that, Morrow also worked with AstraZeneca and Janssen-Ortho.

The Interpublic Emerging Media Lab announced today that it has appointed Raquel Krouse as vice president, director of healthcare. Krouse will be based in Los Angeles.

As a result of three staff promotions at The Hal Lewis Group, Glenn Stevens is rising from senior art director to art supervisor, Lisa McCloskey from account coordinator to assistant account executive and Tammey Hahn from account coordinator to assistant account executive.

Publicis Selling Solutions, a Publicis Healthcare Communications Group company, announced that Dean Hopkins will be joining the company as SVP, sales and client support. He will be responsible for managing sales, training, analytics, incentive compensation, and client services. Prior to joining Publicis Selling Solutions, he was senior director, US commercial business unit at Biovail Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for marketing, contract compliance, trade, managed markets, and customer service. Before that, he was regional sales director at Pharmacia.

HLS, the founding CommonHealth medical-education unit, today announced the appointment of Mary Anderson to general manager. Anderson moves to her new position from her previous rank of EVP, managing director. In her new role, Anderson will oversee the management, operations and long-term planning for HLS. In addition, she will manage the HLS leadership committee and hold a seat on CommonHealth’s cross-company executive committee. Anderson will continue to supervise the account management teams and serve on the HLS strategic planning team to maximize client offerings. Anderson has been employed with HLS for 2 years and has an extensive background in medical education. With more than 20 years of experience in promotional and accredited medical-education programming, she has developed live events, curricula, publication strategies and disease-specific initiatives in most therapeutic categories, both in the United States and globally. Throughout her career, Anderson has held top positions at multiple medical-education agencies.
