Validus Pharmaceuticals announced that it has acquired bipolar disorder treatment Equetro (carbamazepine) extended release capsules from Shire. Validus Pharmaceuticals will begin active promotion of Equetro during the US Psychiatric & Mental Health Congress in Orlando, FL, in early October.
