Filmmaker and consumer health advocate Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau produced a CME documentary about drug industry influence and its affect on prescribers.
PERx: Prescribing Evidence-Based Therapies was released in June at www.perxinfo.org. The site includes other resources for healthcare professionals, specifically advanced practice nurses.
PERx was one of 28 CME programs funded by grants from the $430 million Neurontin settlement, awarded through the Attorney General Consumer and Prescriber Education Grant Program (MM&M March 2007).
