Fishawack Group has added 2e Creative to its network of agencies following an investment in the firm.

Post-deal, Fishwack’s network includes five health-focused agencies: 2e, Dudnyk, Carling Communications, Blue Latitude Health and Healthcircle. The group acquired rare disease marketing firm Dudnyk in March and creative marketing shop Blue Latitude Health last December.

The latest addition has brought the size of Fishawack’s staff to 750 worldwide and added U.S. offices to the group. Fishawack’s network has four offices in the U.K., a U.S. presence in Philadelphia, New York, San Diego and St. Louis and locations in India, Portugal and Sweden. As of the end of last year, Fishawack reached $35 million in North American revenue.

Fishawack is split into two divisions: Fishawack Medical Communications and Fishawack Creative. The group is one of a handful of smaller, health-focused networks that are challenging larger legacy holding companies such as WPP, Interpublic Group, Publicis Groupe and Omnicom Group.

“When people join us, they feel like they matter to the company,” Fishawack CEO Oliver Dennis said this year. “They’re not just someone who’s going to fill a capacity need in a large, rigid structure.”

In 2018, 2e posted a 47% spike in revenue to $15.2 million, the latest in several years of significant revenue growth by the St. Louis-based shop. The firm also made its first acquisition last year, snapping up Indiana-based firm Fire & Rain, which expanded its services beyond marketing into sales training and events.
