In most corners of the healthcare world, the adoption of digital health tools is taken as a given. But as these data from Rock Health’s Digital Health Consumer Adoption Survey suggest, the reality is more complicated.

Conference keynoters often rhapsodize about mobile-enabled tracking and video-based telemedicine, yet Rock Health reveals that only 24% of respondents have adopted the former and 19% the latter. Digital health has come a long, long way in the past few years, but it has not yet become an intrinsic part of the system.
