Fitness training startup Humango has hired Finn Partners.

The company, founded in 2019 and based in Boulder, Colorado, uses artificial intelligence to adapt training to its users. It was acquired in July 2023 by Human Powered Health, an athletic technology company.

The startup brought on Finn Partners because “we are reaching a point where the product is ready for primetime,” said Eric Abecassis, Humango CEO. After Human Powered Health’s acquisition, “we have a virtually unlimited runway and the possibility to continue growing the business and products to reach more and more people.”

Finn Partners will work with Humango on its sponsorship of the Challenge Family, a triathlon race series, as well as social media, content strategy, customer case studies, newsletters, webinars, earned media and in-person activations, said Franko Vatterott, head of partnerships at Humango.

The company considered three other agencies, Vatterott said.

“I crossed paths with Finn about a year ago and was just very impressed with the way they handled the week-to-week execution. I liked that we get a team with Finn, not just an account rep,” Vatterott said.

The company could work with influencers who write about the intersection of sports and technology and partner with other businesses, like a shoe company, Vatterott said. It has named triathlete Matt Hanson, an Ironman champion, as a spokesperson.
