This has been a long, strange year for everyone.

We are still grappling with the devastating effects from the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia destabilized the geopolitical landscape by invading Ukraine and the overturning of Roe v. Wade led to one of the most politically-charged midterm elections in recent memory.

We also lost so many celebrities and prominent figures, including Queen Elizabeth II, Sidney Poitier, Olivia Newton-John and Mikhail Gorbachev, to name a few.

Needless to say, we could all use a pick-me-up after a steady stream of trying developments. Luckily, the holiday season is right around the corner and that’s the most ideal time to be grateful for what we have.

After another busy year in the healthcare industry, we could all use a fun competition to unwind and reflect on the best things in life: our pets!

We know many healthcare and marketing communications professionals have some adorable pets as part of their families and we want to see them in their most festive attire. Whether that’s a cat, a dog, a bird, a gerbil, or whatever animal you call your own, we’re fans!

We are calling on all healthcare and marketing communications professionals to submit their nominees for MM+M’s 2022 Cutest Pet in Healthcare and Marketing Communications. You can email a picture of your furry friend to our email: [email protected]

The deadline to submit is Friday, December 16 and the winner will be announced Monday, December 19.

It’s no secret that the holiday season, while fun for many, is also one of the more stressful times of year. It’s our hope that our Cutest Pet in Healthcare and Marketing Communications contest can bring a little levity to our readers and ease some anxiety going into 2023.

We appreciate all the work that our audience puts into their campaigns on behalf of pharma and life sciences clients, so we’re eager to see that same energy and enthusiasm reflected in these submissions.

As we head into one of the most wonderful times of the year, let MM+M know who is the 2022 Cutest Pet in Healthcare and Marketing Communications!

The contest starts now, may the most charming pet win!
