Merck has hired Marc Levesque as VP of immunology discovery and head of its Cambridge Exploratory Science Center. Levesque previously served as senior director of immunology at AbbVie, where he spearheaded new immunology targets for inflammatory bowel disease and skin diseases, as well as autoimmune disorders.
Prior to that, Levesque was a faculty member at Duke University Medical Center as well as the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
