Avadel Pharmaceuticals has tapped Dr. Jennifer Gudeman as VP of medical and clinical affairs, a role in which she will oversee all of the company’s medical and clinical activities. She joins the company from AMAG Pharmaceuticals, where she served as VP, medical affairs.

MiMedx hires corporate relations exec

MiMedx Group has appointed Jack Howarth as SVP of investor relations. Howarth comes to MiMedx from Antares Pharmaceuticals, where he served as VP, corporate affairs.

Evoke Kyne elevates team leader

Evoke Kyne has promoted Sarah Cooper Welty to SVP, a role in which she will oversee client engagements in neuroscience and immuno-oncology, issues management and corporate reputation. She will also serve on the agency’s senior management team.

Tufts Drug Development Center transitions to new leader

The Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development announced the resignation of director Kenneth Kaitin, who was with the organization for 35 years. He will be succeeded by Kenneth Getz, currently a professor and the Center’s deputy director.
