The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association announced Thursday that Denice Torres, president of McNeil Consumer Healthcare—a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson—has been named Woman of the Year. The organization stated they chose Denice due to her “exceptional leadership,” “double-digit” sales growth and “reclaiming leadership in several over-the-counter categories as well as #1 healthcare professional recommendation for many of these products.” The 26th Woman of the Year event will be held at the New York Hilton Midtown on Thursday, May 14.
