Essex, CT, direct marketing firm Structural Graphics has acquired Santa Monica, CA–based print and promotions company Intervisual Communications. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
There are no immediate plans for changes in staff size or locations for either of the firms involved in the deal, Structural Graphics said.
“The acquisition is incredibly complementary. They are a footprint on the ground for us on the West Coast,” Mike Maguire, CEO of Structural Graphics, told MM&M.
“The acquisition means we are able to bring a number of proprietary and patented products to the industry. We are also able to access an even larger database of dimensional design.”
Structural Graphics pharmaceutical industry clients include Merck, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Alcon Labs, Bayer, Dermik Laboratories, Edwards Lifesciences, Genentech and Wyeth.
