AbbVie has partnered with three organizations to develop COVID-19 antibody. AbbVie, Netherlands’ Utrecht University, biotech Harbour BioMed and Erasmus Medical Center are working together on the project to develop a preventive therapy for the illness. (Reuters)

Americans are incorrectly using cleaning products due to coronavirus, according to a survey from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Some are cleaning food, their skin or even gargling with bleach or other disinfectants to try to kill coronavirus, leading to other health issues. (STAT)

Sun Pharmaceuticals began a trial of a plant-based coronavirus treatment. The trial is testing a drug originally developed for dengue that has also shown promise in treating coronaviruses. Results from the phase 2 trial are expected in October. (Bloomberg)
