Former Intel marketing chief Deborah Conrad has joined health tech startup Grand Rounds as its first chief marketing officer.

She is tasked with building the brand and expanding the company’s marketing team. Conrad joined the company this month and is based in its San Francisco headquarters.

Grand Rounds, founded in 2011, provides a software to employers that connects members and their families to high-quality care and medical experts. The company works with more than 100 employers and reaches 4.2 million patients with its programs.

Conrad spent 27 years at Intel, where she held roles including CMO, board member of the Intel Foundation, VP of the Intel-Apple partnership, and VP of the solutions market development. Since leaving Intel in 2014, Conrad was CMO-in-residence at West, chief marketing and revenue officer at Globality, and an independent advisor to venture funds and arts and tech nonprofits.
