Kevin King, president and CEO of Thomson Healthcare, has left the company. It remains unclear whether he will be replaced, company officials said.

King left the firm towards the end of June. He arrived in March of 2005 from GE Medical Systems Information Technologies and GE Global Clinical Systems. His responsibilities are being absorbed by Bob Cullen, president and CEO of Thomson Scientific and Healthcare.

Thomson announced last month that it would divest its medical education business, which pulled in $97 million in revenue for 2005, accounting for about one tenth of the scientific and healthcare group’s total revenues.
