Judges loved this powerful campaign for Eli Lilly’s new drug for advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer. It’s the first treatment advance in decades, and bleak visuals of a patient awaiting treatment and blunt copy perfectly captured the feeling of hopelessness around non-small cell lung cancer. “The industry needs more work like this — incredibly emotional and grounded in a smart, insightful strategy,” said one judge.
