Novartis’s generic pharmaceutical company, Sandoz, has named Christine Nundkur as chief executive of its US generics operations. Nundkur most recently served as CEO of Barr Laboratories, a subsidiary of Barr Pharmaceuticals.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has appointed Rajiv De Silva to chief operating officer of specialty pharmaceuticals, effective immediately. De Silva is tasked with overseeing specialty pharmaceutical operations in the US, Canada and Australia. De Silva was most recently president, Novartis Vaccines USA and head of Novartis’s Vaccines of the Americas.
Chicago-based healthcare ad agency Topin & Associates has announced the hiring of Jonathan Adams as group supervisor of its account team. Adams, most recently in account management at Corbett Healthcare Communications, will manage Topin’s Mission Pharmacal account, and report to Lori Kewin. Adams will also work with the executive team on new business efforts.
