Cigna is lowering the price of HIV drugs for some Florida residents as part of a settlement with advocacy groups that alleged discriminatory pricing. The New York Times reports that the settlement will put a $200 limit on how much patients will pay per month for certain drugs and lower the prices of others. The change will affect patients who sign up for insurance through health exchanges. The NYT says the advocacy groups have indicated Florida may serve as a test case for litigation elsewhere.
