ICYMI: India is looking to get its pharma regulatory agencies under one roof.
The Economic Times reported Friday that the government hopes the reorg will bring about “better coordination and effectiveness.” EC explains that the consolidation would put the regulatory body and the pricing authority in the same division.
Right now, the FDA equivalent is part of the health ministry and the pricing group is with the chemicals and fertilizer ministry.
