Jeff Smokler has been a champion of change in healthcare since he entered the industry in 1999 as a journalist on Capitol Hill. As the President of Imre Health, he led the agency through tremendous growth, transforming it from a small $67,000 scope six years ago into a life sciences marketing powerhouse with $35 million in revenue and growing. Prior to Imre, he was SVP at Powell Tate, the public affairs arm of Weber Shandwick, where he shared accountability for the corporate strategy that led CVS to rebrand as CVS Health, backed by its commitment to quitting big tobacco. Smokler helped cultivate Imre’s people-centered perspective on empathy, well before the pandemic increased the importance of making healthcare, and healthcare agency life, more human.

As an out and equal member of the LGBTQ+ community, Smokler continues to be an executive voice for inclusivity in the marketing and advertising industry at-large.
