As an immigrant from Colombia who came to the U.S. at 17 without speaking English, Lili Gil Valletta embodies the American Dream. After decades of corporate leadership, including a 10-year tenure at Johnson & Johnson, Gil Valletta cofounded CIEN+ and the market research tech company CulturIntel, which offers A.I.-powered research, strategy consulting and marketing solutions. She is an active voice promoting Cultural Intelligence as a lever for business and economic growth, equity and business inclusion, collaborating in initiatives at the U.N., The World Economic Forum, The White House and as a mentor to the Stanford Latino Entrepreneur Leaders Program.
Since the start of her career, Gil Valletta has been keenly aware of the gaps in diversity in healthcare marketing. She has strived to create foundational corporate changes based on Cultural Intelligence workshops, designed to elevate understanding of how various cultural nuances play out in health outcomes.
