Mary Michael has built her three-decade career on the belief that in order to properly serve the community, you must first listen to them. At Otsuka, this people-first mentality has led to the development of a team that invests in connecting, collaborating and creating with the communities they serve. She has driven the integration of social listening applications across businesses and internal matrix teams to serve as a catalyst for informed research and commercialization plans. Michael has also spearheaded early commercialization efforts, including disease and landscape analytics, utilizing naturalistic consumer voice research, social HCP analytics and customized market analytics.

As a woman of color in a senior management position, Michael has served as both a mentor and an example to younger talent both within Otsuka and across the agencies and other companies with whom Otsuka collaborates.
