Eli Lilly president of US operations Deirdre Connelly has been appointed to the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships, which is composed of 20 to 30 citizens who represent a broad range of backgrounds and selects each class of White House Fellows. The commission interviews national finalists and then recommends those individuals it finds most qualified for the fellowship to the President for appointment as White House Fellows. The non-partisan commission meets twice a year: once in January to conduct regular business, and once in June to select a new class of fellows.

Ignite Health, an inVentiv Health Company, announced the appointment of four new associates to its New Jersey office. Bill Miranda has been named senior interactive designer. Before joining Ignite, he served as senior web designer for Temel and worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb as interactive art director. Nkiruka Nwasokwa has been named copywriter. Prior to joining Ignite, she served as copywriter for Vogel Farina and marketing writer for Kinesis Marketing. Danielle Signorile has been named account executive. Before joining Ignite, Signorile served as account executive for Ferrara & Company and Dentino Marketing. Levi Sigworth has been named web developer. Prior to joining Ignite, he worked for SelectMinds as web development associate.

Communications Media, Inc. (CMI) announced that Caitlin Barry, formerly media planner I, has been promoted to media planner II. Barry continues in her role at CMI’s King of Prussia, PA, office.
