WebMD launched an update to its Medscape Mobile multimedia clinical reference, adding medical images and procedure videos aimed at enabling healthcare professionals to quickly visualize their topic of interest on the iPhone or iPod Touch. The app has attracted over 200,000 users since its launch seven months ago, said WebMD, making it the top free medical app for Apple devices, and offers a clinical reference, drug interaction checker, CME activities, medical news and professional directory information.
