Cortex Pharmaceuticals, a California-based manufacturer of drug therapies for psychiatric disorders and neurological diseases, announced an organizational restructuring that includes a 50% reduction in workforce. Cortex cited the current financial climate—specifically uncertain capital markets—as the reason for workforce reductions.  

 

Eye care company Alcon launched a website—www.patanase.com—in support of its Patanase nasal spray, a prescription drug indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients 12 years and older.
