GlaxoSmithKline launched a website in the UK for doctors and consumers looking for information about any or all of the company’s products.
Located at health.gsk.co.uk, the website allows healthcare professionals and patients to search for all GSK products quickly by name or generic name. The portion of the site devoted specifically to healthcare professionals also sorts products by medical indication.
“The aim of the site is to provide straightforward support for UK healthcare professionals in their daily practice, an informal resource and an aid to treatment,” according to a post on the professional side of the site.
Most pharmaceutical companies list products on their corporate sites in the US, though many times they aren’t exhaustive lists, and are not easily searched. The GSK UK site also provides links to additional information about its products on third party sites.
