Roche
has appointed of Steven Sembler VP of commercial operations for Roche in Nutley, NJ, where he will oversee US marketing and sales for products in a number of key therapeutic areas including oncology, HIV, hepatitis and anti-infectives. Sembler also becomes a member of the company's senior management team and will report to president and CEO George Abercrombie.. Sembler replaced Gary Zieziula, who was named the new general manager of Roche in Greece on Jan 1. Previously, Sembler was VP, oncology, for the US pharmaceuticals organization and was responsible for all aspects of Roche's US-based oncology business.

Publicis Selling Solutions has promoted Lanya Larece to drector, client services and Laurie Foltman to manager, human resources.
