Eric Steinberg was a founding member of Hearts & Science, which launched in 2016 and is part of the Omnicom umbrella. He oversees the agency’s Aimovig business within the Amgen portfolio.

With more than a decade of experience working in the industry, Steinberg has directed cross-channel planning for a number of high-profile brands, including Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, numerous GSK pharmaceutical brands, and product launches for Breo, Tanzeum and Benlysta.

Prior to joining the Amgen team at Hearts & Science, he led strategy for P&G’s Baby Care division, where he played an integral role in the launch of the Pampers Pure product line.

In early 2018, Steinberg was diagnosed with leukemia. “Taking a leave from his day-to-day responsibilities for treatment, he brought the same determination and confidence to his recovery that have been the hallmark of his career,” said U.S. Hearts & Science CEO Erin Matts. After a successful stem cell transplant in October 2018, Steinberg returned to Hearts & Science with enhanced insights on healthcare communications as seen from the patient’s perspective.
