As an account director at Hill Holliday Health, Heather Donahoe supports brands within Novartis’ oncology and immunology, hematology and dermatology portfolios. Since joining the company in 2015, she has been responsible for launching several rheumatology indications and served as an account management lead for Cosentyx, a biologic for treating plaque psoriasis, psoriasis arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. While working on the Cosentyx account, Donahoe partnered with strategy and creative leads to develop the biologic’s DTC campaign, which was nominated for a number of awards.

Donahoe began her career in 2008 at Grey, where she worked with clients including Liberty Mutual, before transitioning into healthcare marketing and working on accounts for Zantac OTC and Pfizer Oncology. From there, she took a series of healthcare marketing jobs, including roles at Euro RSCG Tonic, a health and wellness agency, and DDB, where her work spanned several categories and brands, including cardiovascular (Eli Lilly, Daiichi Sankyo), rheumatology (Bristol Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline), neurology (GSK), oncology (Pfizer), immunology (Merck), pediatric vaccines (Merck, Sanofi Aventis) and women’s health (Merck).

“It’s not just that she’s proven her ability to drive business growth for her clients, and, in turn, organic growth for the agency — it’s that she’s done it time and again,” said Linda Bennett, a managing director at Hill Holliday. “Her uncanny sense for seeing — and seizing — new opportunities stems from her dedication to, passion for and intimate knowledge of her clients’ business.”
